Supplements vs Real Foods?

    While supplements contain the real chemicals they said they do, absorption of them by the body is not guaranteed. In fact, you have to couple them with food. When you drink them, you should simultaneously be eating for them to be absorbed. Because when you take them alone, the stomach does not recognize them as something that needs to be digested.

    My youngest and I both have problems with low potassium and need extra B vitamins. The supplements don't work for us, we have to get them from foods. It really isn't that hard to accomplish. It's a heck of a lot easier than the doctor hooking us up to a "banana bag" IV. LOL!
