I'm thinking of starting something new in my garden and would like to know what you like to plant with regards to fruit. What fruit gives you the most yield? I have tried a few things with success in the way of taste, but yield has been small. I like to make homemade jams and so would like to know what fruit will give me enough so that I can make some jams or desserts out of it. Any opinions?

Actually, the climate of the place where you live is what determines what kind of fruits you'd plant. Suggesting something that does well say in places which are hot all year round might not be helpful if say you live near the North pole [just an example!]

However if you can do some research and learn that berries can grow your area then that's what I'd recommend because they're easier to grow than any other fruits.
