When I first got my Comcast DVR, the box rental was $8. I got two boxes, and over the past few years the rental of each box went up to $19 per month. That is insane! I took both boxes into the office and told the woman, "Shut off my television". People standing in the line next to me were laughing, they could not believe it.

I have been using Roku for two years and do not miss Comcast at all. On top of the ridiculous fees, they always put "previous balance" on the bill, whether you pay or not. How the heck can I have a previous balance on a bill i paid in full?

    Does anyone else hate comcast?

Duh haha. Whatever you get online though is often difficult to find without resorting to unsafe sites and that's if you even find them (if there's a special on E for example most likely you're never going to see it). I guess if you're watching very popular shows like the Blacklist then you can find what you are looking for on Hulu or Netflix but I don't watch many of the current popular shows.
