I remember the day when credit cards were just given away in the mail. Those days are far gone now. Today you're pre-approved for a credit card with 22 or more percent rate attached. You also could sign up at a department store and get a credit card. I don't know if businesses are still doing that. Finance charges today are not funny not to mention late charge fees. Those who were lucky enough to get a credit card in the mail back then how much has it changed for its use?
