As you may or may not know, Apple have been inundated with complaints over the past few years because of how easy it is for young children to make in-app purchases on devices that they are playing on. Because of this, they have said that if you are able to provide links for all purchases that were not made by you (go into your account details on iTunes) they will refund it back to the payment method that you used for it in the first place.

According to Apple, the deadline to make these claims has passed - however I have still been hearing of people who have made their claims and successfully been refunded the money that they asked for.

I would urge you to be honest, and only ask for money back that was genuinely taken without your knowledge.

Does anyone have any success stories with getting money back?

I got just over £30, which was a lovely surprise for me because I had written the money off. All of my devices are now firmly password protected, and that is how they shall stay!
