    freedompop is the best, srsly.

i get a gig of 4g data free, no catches, and some texts and voice too.

if i want i just upgrade to unlimited data for $15/mo. it's throttled, but only with heavy isage.

with moderate data conservation, i have cheap or free broadband wherever i go. i use a tablet with full windows 10 on it to tether to my phone. i have a huge battery on my phone, so on a charge i get full internet all day in the middle of nowhere and a fully functional pc. pretty sweet.

    anyone else try them?

The best internet for me is Wi-Fi. This is free internet at its best though most WiFi spots are in places where you are required to spend in order to enjoy them in my area. Totally free WiFi is yet to catch up well. I browse using Opera Mini.jad which is cheap on my phone and I can use 10MB for almost 3 days of heavy browsing. At a cost of $0.1.

I live in Greece and I am paying 19€/mo for 10GB data, 100 mins and 10 SMS.

Yes, it may cost a lot compared to US and UK carriers but that's the best deal you would get in Greece for that money.

Check out other crazy prices here (it's in English, no worries):

P.S. COSMOTE is not my carrier obviously.
