One of the best ways to get a brand new computer or something that is very close to brand new is to buy one of those computers that have been "re-furbished" as they call it. Those are new computers that someone purchased and very soon after unpacking it they find that it does not work properly in a significant way. So, they send the computer back to the store or manufacturer and oftentimes get it replaced by another new computer. So, the store or manufacturer gives them another new computer and keeps the broken one and then actually fixes the broken on and the puts it back out for sale. But now they do not call the fix computer brand new, they may call it refurbished. The thing with refurbished computers is that oftentimes they are better than brand new because they have gone through a more rigorous testing and repairs to make sure that it does work correctly the second time around. So, refurbished are very much like brand new and cost significantly less. Check it out next time you are wanting to purchase a new computer.

The only problem is that refurbished computers don't go through more rigorous testing than new computers. Each manufacturer that refurbishes their devices is different, and the repairs are often done by third-party services. If you read reviews on refurbished computers, they're often more on the negative side. Some refurbed computers undergo very little testing besides being verified as turning on, so they tend to have more problems than they should. If you get a properly refurbished device, then you should consider yourself lucky, but chances are somewhat high you'll face issues instead.
