For me, buying meat is one of the harder ways to save money as it's the most expensive food item I usually buy with some exceptions. I want my family to eat healthy and I would love to buy all organic meats, but unfortunately unless I want to spend an arm and a leg on my groceries, I have to deal with regular meat. That being said, I still pay a fair amount to be able to have meat to feed our family. Does anyone have any tricks or tips that they use to save money on their meat bill? I do buy sales and freeze them now when I can, and I try to keep track of the days the grocery stores mark down the meat to 30% off for last day of sale so I will just freeze it until I want to use it.
