I saw a commercial for a device that helps users make their own soda. To me, it would be better to just get a bottle at the store. However, the manufacturer marketed their device as a money-saver.

Do you think it would be worth saving a few dollars to make your own soda?

    What I believe I saw on TV . . .

I wouldn't personally do it because I'm not a big soda drinker.

I have a couple friends who do this and LOVE IT, though. They particularly like being able to try new flavors and make things outside of their standard 'coke' or 'sprite' varieties, too.

Soda is very cheap already, so i wonder if the money that I will get to save is worth the effort if I try making my own soda. So I would probably just buy soda. It would be more convenient as compared to making one. I also don't drink soda that much, so I think it's not worth buying a soda-maker.
