Does anyone read Poe? Do you think he is to dark and haunting or is he your cup of tea? Is the work of Poe to outdated to you? Or is it classic and the stepping stone to authors such as King and Koontz?
I did read Poe. And The Raven is one of my favorite poems. Some of his stories are to say the least classics. I would include The Pit and the Pendulum and The Fall of the House of Usher as my own favorites. Of course a lot of his stories have been given film treatment, some more successfully than others.
