Experiences with Comcast Internet

    I go back and forth between loving and hating my internet service from Comcast.

    On one hand, its pretty fast and priced very well. But, at the same time, I have almost weekly service outages, the broadband modem breaks almost monthly, customer service is terrible, and it takes forever to get service people out. Has anyone else had the same experiences?

    Any suggestions on other, comparable ISP's?

    I have had the same experiences as you have with Comcast. Just about every day, the service is either slow or not working. The customer service on the phone depends mostly on your luck, but the customer service on site where I live is terrible and extremely rude. What needs to happen is more competition. Until that happens, companies like Comcast can do what they want to the customer.
