Expired coupons on military bases

    My sister-in-law, who has just gotten into couponing herself, found out that if any coupons expire, you can still give them to someone who lives on a military base, and they can use it for a certain amount of time after the expiration date. I think that's pretty cool! From now on, I'm going to save all of my expired coupons until I find someone that I can give them to on base. My cousin is on base, so I think I'll see if they could use some extra coupons! It's good to know that even if we spend all of that time cutting coupons and we don't get to use them in time, they can still go to good use.

    I have heard this. They can use them even longer if they are overseas. There are actually programs that you can send your coupons to, and they're sent to military families in other countries.
