Anyone who grows vegetables at one time has had to deal with aphids. The answer to the menace would be getting some chemical and spraying them to death. But need you spend money buying pesticides?

There's no need for that. Use soapy water

    How does it work?

Thanks for the tip! I've been having problems with my aphids and have also tried some costly pesticides. They do work, but they always come back. Hopefully the soapy water solution is a bit more long-term!

OP, have you actually tried this for yourself? I'd love to hear if it definitely worked. I'm planning on attempting to grow some vegetables this year and want to be prepared for things like this.

Soapy water! What a useful tip! I have used a black tea solution in the past, even a spray made with cinnamon. It worked. There are many different ways to get rid of aphids, and you definitely don't need to apply any poisons. Soapy water sounds the easiest and quickest. I will try it next time I have another invasion of aphids munching away on my house plants. :)
