I've been looking at digital book services to subscribe to, something like Scribd. I like reading on my commute to work. Has anyone tried any? Do you like them? I'm alright with paying for a subscription if the books available are worth it.

I don't really do subscriptions but I do have an Audible account where I can just download books every time I please and they offer free credits every month or so. I'm not really much of a reader so I prefer listening to audiobooks instead.

I don't do subscriptions either. There are millions of free books on the net. Some can be downloaded while others . . . you just have to read online.

Scribd may sometimes have books which you won't find elsewhere but for someone reading primarily for leisure, free alternatives are always the best option. I'll stick with them.
