Have you ever seen an indoor water feature? Or another word for it might be indoor pool? My brother in law designs outdoor water features and they are gorgeous. I was thinking this might be a nice idea for indoors but since I have never seen one I am wondering what the pluses and minuses might be. What do you think? Is an indoor water feature a good idea or a bad one?

I only ever see them in restaurants, usually the higher class ones that also have a live musician on certain nights truthfully. No wait, I tell a lie. My uncle has a lovely little koi pond in part of his house. They are nice indooors, but it depends on what kind you get really, and how much work you put into ensuring that the area around it won't be affected.

You also need to consider humidity/moisture and chemicals to keep the algae from growing depending on the climate. I would love to have one in my home, just don't need anymore work than I already have. I think it would be really relaxing.
