    I stumbled upon this great Amazon deal and I had to share. This Piano Apprentice for the iPad, iPod or iPhone is currently on sale for $29.99. The original price is $149.99, so that's an 80% savings! It has really good reviews and looks like a lot of fun. It teaches its users how to play the piano with a lighted keyboard to make it easier.

    This is perfect. I've been looking for this model for my live performances, and this is the kind of wild price drop I've been hoping for. I don't think I'll need the teaching function (it seems a little silly for a 25-note keyboard anyways) but I guess it's nice for the true beginner. This is the kind of compact tool that will make setup on stage a lot easier---thanks for the tip!
