Has anyone tried to do a laptop payment plan? I got a catalog in my mail offering me credit to do a buy now, pay later payment plan. The company is called Montgomery Ward. It is offering me $100 credit to buy a $200 laptop and pay down about $60 . I do not know if I should accept or not. I think it will cost me more overtime. a lot of companies have high interest just so they can profit off of others.

I've heard of similar laptop "loans" offered by some banks to their customers. Thing though is though you do get a laptop, you don't get any discounts on the laptops and I also saw some complaints that the prices of said laptops were a little too high which meant anyone taking the deal was being ripped off by their bank.

Best to save some money and buy a laptop when you have enough saved . . .
