Long Range Wi-Fi

    Anyone have any experience or luck with long range wifi antennas?
    I setup a solution similar to this

    ... 4 years ago for my parents. Haven't had any problems with it since.
    What kind of distance are you talking about?
    Do you have line of sight?
    Are there any obstructions between sights?

    I have never really though about Long Range Wi-Fi. I would not recommend long range wifi unless it is secured, because there will always be someone trying to use your Wi-Fi. I am pretty satisfied with the basic Wi-Fi.

    As long as possible while still being cost relevant....there aren't any large obstructions except for trees and houses, shouldn't be as much an issue if placed high up
