1 strong kitchen roll, cut in half to look like two toilet rolls. (The thicker and stronger, the better)

    1 tablespoon of bleach

    Half a pint of water

1 plastic tub to hold the wipes

Cut your kitchen roll in half, using a bread knife will be easier. Separate each sheet, making a Neat pile and place your pile in your tub. Don't use flimsy kitchen paper, it will stick together and break easily.

Mix the bleach and water together in a jug, and pour over your pile in the tub. Add the mixture a little at a time until it's soaked through, if you have a little left over, don't add it all otherwise it will waterlog it, and turn into mush.

Ensure the lid is always on, and airtight, to retain moisture. We use empty ice cream or large margarine tubs.

We've tested them, and have in fact have wiped down all the kitchen and bathroom surfaces to the point of sparkling.

You can buy wipes from the shops for about £1.50 for stores own brand, and about £1 if you're buying from a pound shop, they tend to come in batches of 40-50 wipes. A good strong kitchen roll brand, will cost about £2-2.50 for two rolls, but remember you can get 200 WIPES out of a two pack of kitchen paper. Bleach can be bought for next to nothing, it doesn't have to be thick bleach. You're going to get 200 wipes for about £3.

That's an average saving of at least 25%. Or £1.25 back from £5 :)
