I am from Canada, and my husband is from England; both countries have seen an immense decrease in movie rental stores. In Canada, we used to have Blockbuster, Rogers and even small convenience stores renting VHS tapes and then DVDs. Does anyone still have a local movie shop in which they can go rent movies? I know that they have started those 'Red Box' movie dispensers, but the selection does not match a movie store. If so, do you go often? If not, do you miss being able to go physically look for and rent a movie?

With the internet and services like netflix, the entire renting from a physical store business model has been thrown out the window. I mean if you can get what you want from the net and not have to leave your house then i think that business is definitely going to decline. I do not miss renting out movies anymore. It is not really anything spectacular.
