Here in the Philippines, one of the most contested issues when it comes to the Internet is the speed of access provided by telecommunication companies. At home, I use Globe Tattoo with a 3 MBPS capacity. I pay PhP 1,700 monthly or $40 per month. It has a free wifi router and landline. I am somehow satisfied with the service, but there are times when the connection becomes intermittent.

If you also live in the Philippines, do you have any suggestions as to which ISP I can use? I am looking for a new one because my subscription will end soon. Thanks a lot!

I use Smart's Prepaid Broadband promo and I must say that they are better than Globe, they don't even have a cap so you can download all the things that you want. Regarding speed and connectivity, they are also better than Globe but I only notice this lag when browsing via mobile. When I use a pc there is hardly any difference.
