Saving on water

    Water is not the most expensive thing, but it's another expense to add to all the others we have. Do you worry on saving on water or not really? You drink tap water to save or you prefer bottled water?

    Fortunately, in Scotland the water is part of our council bill so we can consume as much as we like.

    I like the water in Scotland - compared to down in England, you tend to get a lot of limescale left behind in kettles; there's none of that up here. I believe the water works may be privately owned in some places in England which explains why it's based on a meter.

    What do you mean by council bill ghost? What does that include apart from water? That somehow doesn't seem fair to those that consume little water, they pay the same as those who consume a lot?
