It's a 72-hour sale on airfare around the country with flight dates in parts of Decemeber and January outside of the peak travel times. There was a flight from San Diego to Sacramento for $49 (normally $300+), and a flight from SD to Washington DC for something like $130. Deals are available for most major cities, and you're actually going to save a large chunk of money. Act fast or the sale's going to be over in no time at all. This deal is best for someone that knows they'll be traveling during that time or wants to take a random vacation thanks to cheap airfare.
