Artificial sweeteners are very controversial. I'm still not entirely sure how bad they are but it can't hurt to avoid them. Lately I have heard that they cause weight gain and decrease the gut flora (good bacteria) in your digestive tract. I will miss my Diet Canada Dry very much but I suppose I can do without it. I am looking for good stevia or monk fruit products you have tried. I have not even tried monk fruit because I am still trying to find a good stevia. When it first came out it had a nasty licorice aftertaste but now they know how to remove this. Does monk fruit have any weird aftertaste? I know nothing about it.

Recently I bought the powdered stevia packets from Trader Joes. They are alright, but the sweetness is a little weird. I think it's the powder itself. It just... tastes powdery, haha. I have heard that liquid stevia is better but I have no idea where to start. Can anyone recommend a good stevia or monk fruit product?
