I came across this at Wal-Mart yesterday, and it was for some reason placed near the produce, instead of with all the other spices. It sounded interesting enough, just chili powder, sea salt and powdered lime juice. I figured it would be a little cleaner tasting than many of the other spice blends I have, which often contain a whole bunch of other spices in them.

So I tried it today on some steak, to make fajitas...not really digging it to be honest. It's incredibly sour - way more than it looks like it would be. In fact I could barely taste the chili or salt at all, all I could really taste was the super sour lime flavor.

The recipes on their web site seem to focus on using it with fruits and seafood, which may be a better pairing. But for meats, I think I will stick to some other blends I have. Anyone else on here cook with this stuff and if so, know what goes good with it?
