Eyes are the very most important human organ that can expression emotions. even though a person have lack of ability to talk, the eyes can speak for himself.so we have to take care of that special organ of human body. there are many good things that you can do to take care of your eyes. when you wake up in the morning then wash your eyes with clear running water.its really helps your eyes to stay refreshed.

Try to eat more anti-inflammatory diet. that diet is more healthy and help to increase eye vision. Anti-inflammatory diet keep our eyes away from bad diseases, like cataract and macular degeneration.

Avoid smoking, because smoking increase the chances of eye diseases, like blurry vision, tired eyes etc.

Thanks I will make sure to use these tips because I always have those "dark circles."
Do you have any tips on how to get rid of black circles because I usually still get them even with enough sleep. Any help would be appreciated, and again thanks for a wonderful thread. :)

Don't stare into something for prolonged time because your eyes will get tired. Avoid getting your head knocked too often because that was how I got my lazy eye. Carry some eye drops with you at all times so that when your eyes get dry and tired, you can apply some lubricants on them. The most important of all, have you eyes check by a specialist every four months to make sure your eyes are good.

I've got two other tips - Don't spend much time in front of your computer without making small breaks and also make sure that you are on a safe distance from the monitor. Walking in the park also helps me when my eyes are swollen or if they hurt. A fresh air is always good for the eyes and for the health in general.

I agree spending too much time in front of computers can lead to eye strains most of the time. Use the computer if only necessary.

    Thanks for the tips andy!

Eyes can be tired for loads of reasons, the most common I dare to say is too much time on the computer or television without wearing glasses. The sun is more and more aggressive these days as well and doctors are recommending the use of sunglasses.

I wonder if carrots do help? :)

Thanks for the tips, although from my end, even if I did not watch too much tv when I was a kid and I kept a safe distance from the tv and my eyes, I ended up having blurred vision when I turned 18. And I didn't even read that much! I read that blurry eyes usually occur during the school age years and it's pretty common, but I did not do anything to trigger it, it just happened.

Good tips in general but you should really watch how many drops you put into your eyes. After prolonged use, constantly applying eye drops to your eyes can lead to chronic dry eyes and an inability for your eyes to produce a proficient amount of tears by itself. But for general usage, eye drops can work wonders.
