The title says it all "What do you think of your country?"...

My country is the United Kingdom, the people in the country are alright, apart from the chavs (idiots). The prime minister is total BS and should be out the job, but I guess the "nation" voted for him. The economy, has picked up but still not enough.

I'm from the Philippines and I think my country is the best. It has everything that you want in a country. It's tropical so you don't have to worry about snow storms r desert storms because all you can find here are sandy beaches and cool wind. We are also rich with natural resources and we are one of the countries mostly visited by tourists. the people here are very kind and friendly that is why we are called the Hospitable countrymen. We are also know as the Pearl of the Orient! Mabuhay Philippines! Come and visit us!!!

I don't really have an opinion over US. I mean they say it's the fattest country and yes I guess people do really eat like there's no tomorrow lol. I love the state of Texas since I was raised there and well let's face it, it's the best state ever! I do however hate that there's a lot of racism, I'm Hispanic and have been a victim myself even though I've lived here since I was 3, am a US citizen and know perfect English.

I'm from Argentina and, although I am patriotic and it's the only place where I can 'feel home', it's full of idiots, lazy people who don't want to get a job to get paid with those programs that encourage laziness, corrupt politicians and a b*tch who is in charge of 'managing' the country when she seems she wants to turn us into Cuba.

I am from the USA. I feel like our country focuses on things that are not important. When you see the cover of magazines it's all kardashian's or some celebrity. Why can't we put soldiers on more of our magazines. I mean you even hear about the Kardashian's in you morning news. What the... It just drives me crazy sometimes but it's what the US has come to and we all feed into it.

I am from the United States. I love the country. Of course we do have some issues, but I think every place does. Even with the issues, I would not want to leave or live somewhere else. Though I would like to visit a lot of other countries.

I love being from the US. It makes me sad that patriotism seems to be a thing of the past.

I'm from the U.S. I am very proud of my country and am happy to be from here. There are other countries I wouldn't mind to visit though. I love learning about different countries and other cultures.

I'm from the USA also and it's a ok country now but it isn't like it use to be. It use to be fun living here but all the laws and rules that they bury you down with isn't so funny any more. All the murdering for nothing has pretty much wore me down. You use to be able to live in peace but not any more, and when a person would leave there home no one would enter and you never really needed a lock door. You could leave your home and spend the night or whatever and no one would come in your home and steal anything but now it's like you have to live in your home like you live as a prisoner in a prison camp. Bars on windows and doors. What happen to the good old USA? People could be and was more reaxed and calmer. What happen here? People are sick in the head. What really happened here?

I'm an American and I don't think the country is headed in the right direction. There are so many problems here that need to be addressed. The economy is horrible at the moment, and I don't think it will get any better. There aren't any jobs and people are forced to get unemployment, and online jobs with measly pay. I never thought the economy would be headed in this direction. America was the top dog when it came to having it's priorities together, but lately I don't know what went wrong. Maybe it was the war in Iraq that deleted all our funds. It was that or just Bush being a bad President, but I don't feel to happy about the situation that I'm in right now.

I do know what you mean, I know Bush wasn't a good President and he didn't care about the people and there needs but now they are laying all the blame on President Obama about the economy. Well I said, since he was elected we all knew that they would lay all the blame there on his back when it was screwed up years before he was ever thought about being a president and it will take any president the next 40 years to straighten out what the Bushes done in this country. But they thought they would lay it on President Obama since he is the only black President that has ever been elected. But guess what, we know the game that they are playing and it's not going to wash with us. The Bushes is the soul reason that this country is messed up. We have no jobs here, people have lost there homes, they hardly have enough food to eat, and there are millions of homeless people. Thanks to the Bushes!! They were looking out for only themselves but I don't worry, God will take care of them since they are the ones living high on the hog and don't give a heck about no one else. And also hiding out in the bushes in Texas. They can't hide from God. Think about that Bush!

I love the beauty of my country but it is in turmoil at the moment. We have many racialist problems, fraud in the government and police force, violent crime, etc. The other day on the news I heard that we were one of the unhappiest countries in the world. Still, I would not want to immigrate to another country.

Very true about the place and the people :) I absolutely love the beach, the weather, the hospitality. It's the place I call home :) And it saddens me to have corrupt politicians who are only after fattening their pockets with no regard for the people's welfare.

I absolutely love here also and the beautiful beaches, people and places to go and hospitality. Politicians are the root of all problems being here in the USA. The politicians wants their pockets filled with green back dollar bills but don't give a heck about the poor people that are struggling with everyday life and how they are going to make it. That's what makes this country so unbelievable that it has come to this.

I love Canada for many things. I enjoy our winters, our equal rights, I feel safe, beautiful lands. I am so so disappointed in our government though. Our PM is a douchebag. I'll stop there lol.

I am fine with America. Although some parts of it don't pitch in and I think they leech off the government. Places like Alabama and Mississippi. They lead the nation in Obesity and high school drop out rate. Yet they are also the poorest states. Which means big city tax dollars have to pay for their welfare and such. Those parts of America are also where the biggest race problems are. I think our politicians are scum most of the Republicans more than dems. Dems have some crazy ideas sometimes, but they mean well. And lack of malice is always appreciated. Our gang problem in America is just beyond out of control. But I think legalizing drugs would solve most of it.

    Portugal.

It has seen better days, in comparison when we had half of the world conquered and were rich enough to import elephants from India. Now we are filled with robbers (mostly on the government) and in a hole made out of debt.
At least our cuisine is still good and we have some nice beaches...
