I have 16mb internet connection, and I consider that above average, although some people tell me that even that is slow these days. What would you consider slow/average/good download speeds for your broadband?

Do you have a 16 megabits per second connection or a 16 megabytes per second connection? If it's the latter, then that's pretty good compared to the average, and even the former isn't that bad. I have a 30 Mbps connection over wi-fi, but I'm also using a repeater to extend the network to this room, so the speeds are a lot higher in other parts of the house.
