I just received a special offer link on my Kindle for a 12 month XBox Gold Membership package for only $35.00. I am not sure if you can access the deal from Amazon directly or if you have to have a Kindle with special offers ability to claim the voucher. Usually the plan is $60 a year so this is a really good deal if you are able to get it.
The link it sent me was from Amazon Local, which I had never heard of before then. I did a search on it and you can go to local.amazon.com. I am not sure if the deal is still valid but it is worth a shot.
Thanks for the heads up. Even before they raised the price, $35.00 for a year of Live would be a great price. Right about now, you have to find some kind of major snafu to get a real bargain. Once Sears made a mistake and priced it for $20, I should've bought more cards that day, but I took it easy and only bought two. I hope you were able to get a couple of years.
