I don't eat meat. So I get all my protein from other products especially from beans, soy, nuts, egg and other vegetables. Although meat contain a high amount of protein, it also contain a high amount of fat, which I try to take off from my diet or to at least minimize it. when I am eating egg proteins, I hard boil the egg and eat only the white and leave the yolk which is very high in cholesterol. When I am eating beans, I drink a lot of water because beans have a quite high amount of uric acid which when there's too much in the body is pretty bad because it can worsen the arthritis or induce it. Water dissolves uric acid so it's necessary to drink a lot to excrete uric acid. I eat soy and nuts although they are quite high in fat, because I like them. Nuts are also high in uric acid, so I also drink a lot of water when eating them. I drink a lot more even though I already feel that I am full.
