I have been thinking about visiting the zoo early next year and I plan taking the kids of my family with me, but unsure what I should expect. I haven't gone to a zoo since I was little, and I would just like to do so now because I want to introduce e kids to something that isn't technology related. The main thing I worry about is that the area is big so we'd have to walk around a lot and I'm just hoping that if I schedule any day it wouldn't be very hot. There's also the question of where we should eat and since the zoo is secluded we'd pretty much have to eat at their restaurant which I'm afraid might be overpriced and the food probably won't be good. I'd love to hear some of your experiences with zoos in the recent years to hear of some tips or generally just to hear your stories.
