Streaming has become very popular nowadays. Many gamers now livestream their games on Twitch.tv. Even YouTube has begun to provide some kind of streaming capability. It has become quite a good way for gamers to make some money from donations instead of participating in tournaments. At the same time, many tournaments also earn some revenue from livestreaming. So I wonder whether anyone here watches livestreams and how often? Do you watch them for the personality of the streamer or for the game?

Yesterday I received a phone call from my tv company offering me a discount in price, extra services in what seemed to be an awesome deal to me. I was really happy with it, but I remembered to ask, what about retention period, is there any? 24 months the woman said, lol. So they offer me a good deal, considering I stay with them for more 2 years... Would you do it?

You can hardly find them in stores any more, but I'm sticking with my old CRT as long as possible. A few years ago the picture started to lose certain colors and get all wavy, and my family started eyeing those shiny new flatscreen TVs. Instead of buying a new one I called the local small appliance repair place, and they fixed it good as new for only $80. I doubt it would be that cheap, if it's even possible, to fix a flatscreen.
