It's practically the same - having 2 cable providers versus 1 cable provider with 2 connections for the 2 tv. Last month our cable provider (Sky) was down for more than 24 hours rendering us with no tv. We have 2 connections, 1 in our bedroom and another in the living room. My husband realized that if we had another cable provider for our bedroom tv then we at least have 1 tv working. We contacted Cignal cable which responded immediately and in a few days we have a new connection for our bedroom tv which we had disconnected from Sky cable provider. The cost is almost the same for the monthly although we paid 2,100 for the new connection of Cignal and 300 for disconnection fee of Sky. Now we are having the best of 2 cable providers.
