I think discussing these type of sites are against the rules, but I know this site, but they have recently started cleaning up their content, so to speak. A lot of files have been deleted, even whole folders of copyrighted content.
That's a good start. I think the more people start having some respect for the rights of others, people will even have the motivation to work harder and write better books because no one is going to place their work on some site so people can download it free. Nonetheless; the war against piracy can never be won. . .some laws don't apply in some countries.
Yeah I don't think piracy will ever go away, the convenience of downloading free stuff is too hard to resist. Even if they have shut down some file sharing and torrent sites, they just move to a new location to be able to continue their illegal activities.
