How long has he had them? Condiment packets expire. Mild Taco Bell sauce only lasts 9 months, and hot Taco Bell sauce only lasts 6 months. I think mustard is about 6 months. I looked at my ketchup packets recently and had to throw them out because they were puffed up from fermentation. It's not worth him stashing them if they're going bad.
