I'm not even sure where all these stores are located, but we just recently discovered on not too far from where we live. Personally, we love the store and so far, the products we have purchased have been really good. Some of the brands they carry aren't brands that I even recognize, but I have no complaints about the quality so far. They have some really great deals and you pay .25 to use a shopping cart, but you get that back when you return it, and they do not provide bags. You take your own bags and bag your own after checking out. Anyone else have any comments about Aldi's?

We have Aldi here in the UK and I LOVE it! The food is considerably cheaper than other stores and I cannot get the choice of fruit and vegetables they have anywhere else. The fact the fruit and veg is the freshest I have ever known is another deciding factor for me. I literally cut my weekly shopping bill in half by changing to Aldi. If anyone lives near one I fully recommend you trying it and you will notice the difference immediately to your finances.

I agree Livvi! The fruits and vegetables we have bought have been better than many of the other local grocery stores and the prices are really great! We have been able to save quite a bit by shopping there as well! I'm pretty hooked on this store, and although you can't always get everything you need, you can definitely find many things and save money.

We have Aldi as well. I moved from the midwest to the south back in 1997 and boy have I missed the old stock up store! They just opened one down here, its about 20 miles away, but I make sure to get there when I can. To my surprise they even have low calories versions of food now, so even the weight conscious can shop there now! It even smells the same as the old Aldi up north, ah the good memories.

I love Aldi's! We have one, but it's not close by. They have basically everything you need, and the prices are really really good! I wish so much we had one closer.

I'm another Aldi fan. The fresh produce - fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, cheese - is excellent qualility, as well as being really cheap compared to other stores. The non food items are also good, and the wines, spirits and beers are very competitive. I haven't found anything in Aldi that I wouldn't buy, and their frozen food range is also excellent. They do a great selection of barbecue items in the summer months.
