Does anyone have an annuity? If you do what kind of interest rate are you getting from the returns? I am looking at getting one and trying to put some money up for retirement, but not sure if it is worth the cost or not.
I haven't got one but I think there are a few more variables to consider than just the interest rate, partly dependent on where you are in the world and what versions of the product are sold there. Not all annuities are created equally - for example, something as simple as the start date of the annuity will influence the cost of it and the return you can expect. It's worth shopping around a bit.
