I'm desperate for a permanent solution for ants. I've tried sprays, traps, and bait, but the ants always seem to defeat my war tactics! My only short-term success was an ant-gel product that worked for a little while, but after a few months, the little guys just stopped touching the stuff. My nemesis is a powerful insect queen, and she's outsmarted me at every turn.

What success have you guys had with ant killing products?

I've only used Baygon to kill ants, but I've read that chalk can also repel ants, so you might wanna try it.

Some work some don't. Best option [if there are no kids in the house] would be the powders but that's before I came across this article:

Try that and see if it doesn't work.

Ants are terrible... First try to keep your house clean as a whistle and the garbage well closed. I use a white powder that's a killer, I really don't know the name. I've also used something similar to small houses where they enter and take poison to their home and they kill themselves, don't know if this was very effective though.
