I was just wondering if there is any people who sew just for fun here. I have learned to make stuffed monsters and it is so much fun and simple to do. I love the freedom of just cutting out something, then turning this random thing into a creature of some kind. My kids, especially my daughter just loves them. I made a zombie swan once and I had kids in the neighborhood fighting over it. I also really like to make rag quilts as they are simple and you really have something nice for your home and something you can wrap up in on a cold winters day. I am learning to make pajama pants know and it's pretty simple except for the elastic part, I am having trouble figuring it out exactly. I can't wait to master this because I could just lounge around in pj's all day and maybe even make matching ones for the family. If you sew, what do you like to sew? I am self taught, how did you learn?
