I have never done this but I would be very tempted to do so just because I like being very organised and getting things done. I would plan out all meals and then buy my shopping and arrange for it to be delivered at a time that suits me. Although, I have heard that when they are out of stock of your item they give you a replacement item which I have heard can sometimes not work out so well. Especially, if you like to plan meals like me.
I try to do more and more shopping online, but I don't think I could do online grocery shopping. I like buying fresh foods as opposed to pre-packaged and boxed goods, and I don't want to wait a couple of days for it to arrive. The few online grocery stores that have done well are in cities like New York, San Francisco, and Seattle. It is hard to deliver within a couple of hours to rural areas, so if you do not live in metropolitan areas it will not work for you. Also, the costs and overheads of delivering goods is expensive, and that will translate to higher prices for the consumer.
I do a lot of mine online. I found going to big supermarkets really stressful and full of parents who cannot control their children haha. I tend to spend less online too.
I do! I've bought various things from amazon. But my local grocery store has online shopping. I order enough to get free shipping, I won't pay for shipping.
