Anyone else picky about their lightbulbs?

    The 2700k color temperature used in most houses is too warm to me, so I found a 4000k one that's around 800 Lumens for $11 that I think is pretty nice. It's looks mostly white but more on the cool side, which is what I prefer. I think lightbulbs that are more of a blue/white color are more calming, especially if they're not too bright. I think the hot weather where I live has something to do with my preferences too.

    We buy GE 60 watts. These are cost effective and brighter than the others. We have some energy saver bulbs as well but they aren't as bright and our house is very dark. I have bought some little LED tap lights to put at my desk and its helping me to see better when I need to. We haven't had a problem with heat but rather the lighting of our home.
