I just purchased an AMD 750k quadcore for my system I am working on, but color me curious, I guess. Are the new 6 core CPUs worth the money right now? What kind of performance are they offering over similarly priced quad cores and do you get a noticeable performance increase in certain games that more cpu dependent, like say, an mmo. Are they relevant right now or more of a novelty for those who can afford them?
I have not had a chance to use the new 6 core processors but I am thinking that it must be super fast. I think the quad core is fast enough for me. may be in future I might just decide to use the six core which am sure as a gamer I will be able to play any game on it. Such a processor is meant for people who love to game and run some serious graphics processes and programs.
