Ive been using whey protein for around a year now. Thinking of trying BCAA and was wondering what the equivalent volumes of product is?

I buy 5kg bags of whey protein, it is 24.6g protein per 30g product.

I take 50g post workout with milk.

How much BCAA powder would I need to be equivalent? Not just portion wise, but what quantity of BCAA would I need to last me as long as 5kg whey protein?

I've read that BCAA is good for fasted training. Whey is beneficial in general, because it is difficult to obtain all the protein one needs from a regular diet. To answer your question, I would try taking both. BCAA in the morning and whey at a different point in the day to help hit your macros.

Doing a Whey with your aminos in it are fine. Remember if you eating clean with good protein intake you also aquire aminos from these foods also during the day. For those who do a Whey powder without taking pill form aminos is a great whey to supplement them. Or take a Multi that also includes some aminos.
