I saw this on a blog a few days ago . . . a blogger advising their readers to buy their next car online because they can get the best deals online. If it's a new car and you are buying from a reputable dealer there's a possibility that you can get a good deal but a used cars? That's an entirely different matter. What do you think? Are cars the one thing someone should never buy online?
I am not entirely sure if you mean just looking for cars online and then going over and checking them out, or buying them right away without an inspection. If the first, I think that you can actually find really good deals that way (used car dealerships are a scam IMO). If it's the second... you're absolutely right. I say this because I brought my current car used for an absolute steal from an online listing.
My son likes to buy and sell cars on cragislist. This is one of the ways he gets the cars and trucks he drives I think he feels he has gotten some good deals.. I have seen some of the last cars I bought advertised online. However, they were actually being sold in a physical dealership. I think it can be a good way to get vehicles.
