Well, Steam summer sales are over now where I spent over $150 to get some cheapas* gaming deals. But now that it's over, I was wondering is there any place where I can look for some good deals?

There are many sites that offer game discounts and deals. One particular site that I use frequently is GMG, or Green Man Gaming. They have very frequent offers, and the games they discount are usually popular such as Civilization 5, Borderlands 2, and so on. Another site is GamersGate. They offer daily deals, and most of the time, their game deals are pretty decent. Other than the two sites, there are some other sites that offer deals on a weekly basis, or are completely random with their discounts. GameStop is one of them, and Amazon is another.

and check them daily, because they post all the deals for a lot of plataforms across a variety of online shops.

I usually check Amazon. They seem to have everything I want at affordable prices. I also try out Wallmart but most of the time, their prices are the same as that of Amazon. If I'm feeling a bit rebellious (or when I'm short on cash), I check torrent sites. Lol.

Do you have a Game Stop by you? If so, they do give you credit for trade-ins - not that they give you a lot but may be enough to give you a discount if you were done with any of your games and are willing to trade them in. We have a lot of local stores here that have some pretty good deals and then there are also pawn shops here that have games, but you usually can't find the latest games since the games are used.

Ebay probably has some pretty good deals if you find a good and big seller. Amazon will give you comparison prices in the item listing so you can see all the prices at one time.

You can't go wrong with Ebay, they always seem to have the best prices, even for 2nd hand items.

I buy all my video games from Steam, I sometimes buy used video games from Ebay. I love Steam, I often find discounts, and I can play my favorite games legally. Some people use pirated games, but I don't recommend that, they are full of malware.

I rarely buy a game after it comes out. I'd rather be part of the conversation at release than save a few bucks. That being said, for cheap games Steam is awesome. For conslle gamers PS+ is also a great option.

I can only recommend Bundle Stars. Their bundles are usually filled with really interesting games and right now they are even offering a "Build-Your-Own-Bundle" where they release a game for free every 2 weeks or so. I already got some crazy deals out of it and enjoyed most of the games I bought. Aside from that I can really recommend Steam, especially during summer sale, but you already know about that.

One thing that I haven't seen suggested is through reddit. If you are a redditor then check out /r/GameDeals. This is my go to place to find game deals every day. GameDeals has links and deals from all over the web so you don't have to look around websites for games on sale; it's all right there. Also if you have unwanted Steam game keys why not swap it at /r/SteamGameSwap.
