I personally have been using norton 360 for years. Maybe I'm just imagining this but over the years I feel like the fact that it isn't free is really paying off and showing its quality through the protection I gotten. I still feel I won't switch to any other protection in the near future.
ESET Nod32 would be mine. We used to have Norton but I feel like it's full of bloatware so we switched to a better one (I think) and we are happy with it. It's lightweight and doesn't lag the system that much.
