There is a scam going on where stall and street sellers are trying to sell USB sticks marketed as a way to watch free television and new movies online. What it is, is that it's basically a regular USB stick formatted to be read like a DVD/CD with an HTML link that redirects you to a Chinese website. These are being sold at online wholesale companies in bulk for roughly $3 per piece. You can also find these at street markets and stalls selling them at $30 to $50 a piece.

I found these all over the Guangzhou street stalls. My parents thought this would be great for me and bought me one when they were on a trip. I told them it was a scam and did some research too. Unfortunately, these are still being sold everywhere.
