In one bike store where I accompanied a neighbor to check the bicycles, the attendant asked for an ID if we happen to be a member of a riding group - there are lots of biker groups in our area because our town is beside the legendary town of Antipolo, the mecca of new riders. The zigzag ascent is an acid test.

The bike store attendant said that the biker's clubs have entered into a sort of affiliation hence the discount. So what do we do to that? Check on the bikes for sale and look for a biker's club to accept us as members. The 10% discount is a good offer to let it pass.
