Since suffering from stomach problems, and really beginning to do some research into how to soothe those problems, I have discovered that breakfast is important for a healthy stomach. I am not perfect with eating breakfast, because it has been years now that I have gone without it. But I am slowly beginning to implement it into my routine.
When I wake up hungry I like to fix myself a large breakfast with heavy food that will take me through the morning and into the afternoon. If I eat light in the morning it will seem like I never get enough to eat and will look for something to eat all day and eat stuff I should not eat.
I know exactly what you mean. I have to either not eat in the morning, or eat a full meal. The more i snack during the day, the hungrier I'm going to get. Thankfully, its rare for me to even want breakfast anymore. I stick to my early dinner and call it done.
I have to eat something as soon as I wake up, so breakfast is the way to go for me. If I wait until near noon to eat something I feel horrible the whole time. The only way I eat brunch instead of breakfast is when I sleep in, and that doesn't happen too often.
I can put off eating after I wake up for a half hour or so, if I have enough time/energy to get a yoga session in. Any longer than that and I’m hard to deal with, so it has to be breakfast for me. Occasionally I’ll have brunch in a social setting, but that’s pretty rare.
I would always go for a heavy breakfast. As soon as I wake up in the morning, I need a coffee and meal right away. I wouldn't be able to function properly without having breakfast.
For me, it's a breakfast, followed by a snack and a working lunch. I can't miss any. It keeps me healthy and fit and enhances my metabolism. I wouldn't skip a breakfast or have it late, come what may. It will keep your sugar levels under control and gives the much-needed energy boost after an overnight fast. Brunch is something that doesn't appeal to me. I'm mostly a health freak.
I prefer brunch. I feel as if the preparation of it all can be very lengthy, but I think it is worth it. I feel like on Sunday's it is just easier to eat two meals with snacks in between and call it a day. I also like the food that is associated with brunch as well. I think overall it is much more simpler to eat brunch.
Because I always have to work outdoors for a few hours in the morning and won't make breakfast at 6:00 in the morning, I always prefer to make a heavier meal once I'm done working at around 10:00 or 11:00. I've got so accustomed to it that if I have breakfast, say at 8:00 by lunch time I won't be hungry.
Most of the time, I will have my breakfast before I leave the house, and will then only have a snack for lunch. My main meal is in the evening. I find that if I buy "lunch" I will waste a lot of money over the course of the week, so it isn't really something that I want to do anymore. Also I eat too much when I buy lunch, so now I will only ever buy something as a snack instead.
I get up way early in the mornings, so I usually cook myself breakfast at around 5 am or so, and it's typically a big breakfast, since I need it to tide me over until lunch, which I try to wait until noon before eating. Otherwise if I eat lunch too early, then I end up eating dinner too early, which leads me to snacking the rest of the evening until I go to bed. Worse yet, I may make a late night second "dinner" around 9 or 10pm, lol. If for some reason I happen to sleep in, I don't often do a bunch, but rather just wait until it's around noon and go straight to lunch fare. On those days though I may end up staying up all night, so I will have a really early "breakfast" at like 2am. My sleeping patterns are totally out of wack since I started working for myself, and not sticking to traditional 9-5 hours.
I usually have breakfast and then lunch, but I really have no preference in particular. I eat whenever I want to, lol.
