I've converted my Bother NFC-J220 printer into a continuous ink system in order to save money when buying ink. When I added some ink last night, something went wrong with the printer. It said unable to initiate 4F. I searched what that error meant and it said the may be a foreign object in the printer. I checked and the was none. Then the guide on the internet stated that if nothing seems to be wrong, then it must be the print head. Is it better therefore to purchase a print head and have the printer repaired? Or is it more cost efficient to buy a new printer?
